Indoor Air Purification

OZONE GENERATOR AND E-10 IN-DUCT AIR QUALITY SENSOR

Over millenia, ozone in its purist form, has been created naturally  to assist nature in the destruction of airborne pollutants. Ozone (O3) is created during thunderstorms in the form of oxygen whereas oxygen, having two (2) atoms, Ozone (O3) has three (3) atoms. The third oxygen atom that makes up the ozone (O3) structure is an unstable atom which breaks away from it O3 structure and will always attach itself to a Hydrogen/Carbon compound (pollutant), which is also know as a Volatile Organic Compound, (VOC's). Once the single atom attaches itself to the VOC, and in most cases, forms a new and safer compound. This, a natural occurance, has been happenning over thousands of years worldwide.

Example of this natural phenomenom is when ozone (O3) enters an environment of Carbon Monoxide (CO), the third oxygen atom breaks away from the Ozone (O3) and attaches itself to the oxygen Mono (O1) oxygen atom and becomes O2 thus when joining the Carbon atom it then becomes CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2).

                     CO + O3 -------------------> CO2 + O2

With the knowledge that Ozone is an excellent pollutant fighter, manufacturing companies have built devices to produce pure Ozone without taking into consideration that it can also be an irritant.  If Ozone output exceeds U.S. Government regulations,  it's output must be CONTROLLED. To limit ozone output, manufactures used manual controls to reduce the O3 output. But these controls were found to be limitless in their output.  The E-10 Sensor/Control system developed, is the perfect CONTROL instrument used to limit ozone output.

Pollutants are generated from both inside and outside a building structure, and ozone, when used in conjunction with Heating & Ventilating Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC), is an excellent deterrent against those pollutants. Especially when you realize that you are providing indoor air purification for the entire building envelope. The use of the Air Quality (VOC) Sensor/Controller is the perfect fit in the control of ozone output as the VOC sensor senses Carbon/Hydrogen based pollutants and transmits a signal to an ozone generator to activate the ozone process. The Air Quality Sensor is a smart device because.when the ozone process breaks down the pollutant to a clean environment, the sensor senses the clean environment and signals the ozone generator to turn OFF, thus preventing residual ozone from entering into the occupied space. All this action takes place within the HVAC system and NOT in the occupied space.

Typical effected gases include formaldehyde, xylene, toluene, glutaraldehyde, carbon monoxide, benzene, acetones, ammonia, ketones, tobacco smoke, many other complex gases.  (Contact factory for a list of other gases)
